today i bumped into my NJ schoolmate Agnes who is VERY VERY FUNNY and all the more funny because she is one of those people who are funny without trying (or intending) to be funny. it turned out she was taking the same bus as me so we shared a very random but very funny bus ride as she attempted to give a very long answer to a very simple question that i asked.
so it was quite a good thing that I decided to go straight home instead of queuing (? queueing?) at the ATM and lingering at the small spread of used books outside the NUS central library, since i bumped into her at the bus stop.
and so it was quite a good thing that I decided to go down to NUS central library to borrow a public law book which: (1) I don't actually really need, and (2) could have been transferred over to the Law library so I didn't need to travel to the kent ridge campus. But (1) I reserved the book at the start of sem when I thought it would be important, and (2) I didn't know how to request such a transfer.
it all goes to show that Providence does exist and sometimes I do make the right decisions because I think a very random conversation with a very random ex schoolmate was the very thing I needed to wake me up from my crazy thoughts of what I am and what I need to be and how I have to appear.
In the end, I just like to laugh.
in the end, I will do what I gotta do.
